Kid’s Summer Camp - Week 10 AUG 18-22
DESIGN YOUR DREAM BOUTIQUE!
Have you ever dreamed of owning your own shop? This summer, turn that dream into reality at Design Your Dream Boutique Camp, where kids ages 8 to 14 become the designers, curators, and builders of their very own miniature store fronts!
Each day is packed with hands-on activities and exciting challenges that blend art, imagination, and real-world skills.
Campers will:
🎨 Create a Unique Brand – Come up with your boutique’s name, logo, and signature style!
🛍️ Design Three Stunning Storefronts – Using shadow boxes, campers will build three unique store window displays, each with its own creative theme and design flair. 👀 Arrange Your Windows to Wow – Learn how to position items and design layouts that catch your customers’ eyes and draw them in.
🪑 Explore Interior Design – Pick out colors, patterns, and create displays to give your windows just the right vibe!
🧸 Master Merchandising – Learn how to showcase your products to make shoppers want to buy, buy, buy!
By the end of the week, each camper will have 3 fully customized miniature boutique storefronts to take home—plus the confidence and creative thinking skills that come from running a business of their own (even if it’s pint-sized!).
Whether your child loves fashion, art, or just has big ideas, this camp is the perfect blend of fun and learning in a supportive, inspiring environment.

Ages: 8-14 (there will be a maximum of 10 campers and there will always be 2 instructors at all times throughout the day)

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Rob Younkers is a fashion designer, educator, media personality, and avid crafter who’s all about creativity and style. He’s worked with icons like Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Patricia Field, Vogue, and Mattel—and even launched his own women’s tailored collection in 2007.
Rob’s been teaching for over 15 years, including internationally in Milan and at Parsons School of Design (where he started just three years after graduating, thanks to Tim Gunn!). His passion for mentoring young designers began with MTV’s MADE and led to the creation of STITCHED Fashion Camp in 2013.
When he's not designing or teaching, Rob is making—sewing, crafting, and dreaming up the next fun project.
DROP OFF: You can drop your kids off anytime between 8:50am and 9:15am to make sure that they don't miss any projects!
PICK-UP: Please pick up your campers by 2:30pm. After 2:30pm, late fees will apply.
BRING: A healthy lunch, a full water bottle with their name on it and a snack. We are not a peanut-free facility, so if your child has a peanut allergy, please make sure to let us call us before registering. Please dress your child in clothing that you don't mind getting messy. Art can be MESSY! A sweater in case they need it during the day.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Besides a ton of fun, your child will be exploring many different projects and mediums with different instructors throughout the day. There will be painting, sewing, building and more. There will also be body breaks such as daily walks for a picnic lunch to the grassy knoll at the Venice Pool (13316 Zanja St.) which is less than a 1/2 mile walk.
REFUNDS: Full refunds will be offered if you request at least 14 days before the first day of camp. 50% refunds will be offered if you cancel between 13 and 7 days before the first day of camp. Otherwise, we will not be able to offer refunds.
