Class Description:
Join us with Sarah McDaniel of Camp Disco Perfume Experiences (@campdiscolife) to craft potions that capture the essence of fall and your personal magic!
In this workshop, you’ll create 2 personal fragrance items, 1-15 ml eau de toilette and 1-rollerball travel perfume OR bath soak. Choose either a vintage perfume bottle or perfume necklace to take home!
This is your fall perfume-making experience, where you'll tap into your intuition and creativity to craft the perfect autumnal potions. Whether you love the whimsical charm of Hocus Pocus, the mystical allure of Practical Magic or the cozy familiarity of Gilmore Girls, you’ll be inspired for a creative journey, encouraging you to connect with the magic of autumn.
Mix and Match: Blend essential oils and fragrances to create a perfume that is uniquely yours. Whether you're inspired by the mischievous Sanderson sisters or the charming Owens sisters, you’ll have the freedom to mix and match to find your perfect scent.

Create Your Own Magic: Draw inspiration from the playful mischief and enchanting rituals of your favorite fall movies and shows. As you experiment, let your intuition guide you in crafting a fragrance that’s not just a perfume, but a part of your daily rituals.

Take Home a Potion: Bottle your creation in a beautiful vial adorned with a touch of magic. Each potion comes with a custom label, so you can proudly wear or gift your autumnal enchantment.
As your journey unfolds, you’ll explore a selection of essential oils and fragrance components, each carefully chosen to evoke the essence of fall. Imagine blending warm, spicy notes with the crispness of autumn air or incorporating subtle hints of earthy woods and sweet gourds. As you experiment, you’re encouraged to trust your intuition, mixing and matching until you find a scent that resonates with your autumnal vision.

While this class is fall-themed, you are not limited to that! Our full selection of oils and recipes will be available. Expect a beginner-friendly approach to the complex art and science of perfume making, designed to ignite your creativity through your strongest sense - your sense of smell. Camp Disco Perfume Experiences are designed to help you DISCOnnect and discover a playful approach to fragrance and self-care. Founder Sarah McDaniel has hosted over 1,000 blending sessions in the Los Angeles area since 2017, with activations at BeautyCon, The Bloc, Athleta and Unique LA.
Our Terms: By signing up for a workshop or attending a function which we are hosting, you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein. You do hereby release THESE HANDS, LLC. or any person or persons acting on its behalf from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or while participating in any activity sponsored by THESE HANDS, LLC. Furthermore, the undersigned agrees that in the event medical attention is required due to accident or illness, THESE HANDS, LLC. shall, without accepting fiscal responsibility, seek such medical services as it deems necessary and appropriate through EMs/911 and/or local hospitals.
Media Release: I hereby allow THESE HANDS, LLC. to take photographs, video, or audio of me and to use such materials for promotional and archival purposes only. If you wish to opt out, please make the instructor aware of that prior to the start of class.
Class / Workshop Etiquette: All scheduled classes and workshops start and end on time. Please be prompt in your arrival and departure, as we often have other classes starting after yours. Arriving 30 minutes late to a class counts as a no-show, and no make up class will be offered. Teachers are subject to change.
Refund policy: THESE HANDS, LLC. reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen teacher conflicts. If a class is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the session. If you are unable to attend, you will be issued a refund.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a class for a full refund 21 days in advance of class/workshop start date. After that, the class is non-refundable. This applies to all regular workshops. We treat transfers the same as we do with cancellations. Transfers are only possible if you let us know 21 days in advance. The only exception that we make is if the class is sold out and has a waiting list. We can then try to fill your spot with a student from that list.
COVID policy: If you test positive for COVID, please do not attend your scheduled workshop. Instead please contact us and let us know that you cannot attend. If you would like to receive a credit towards a future workshop, please email us your Positive PCR results (it must be a valid test with your name included) or a doctor's note. No refunds will be issued.
Gift Cards: Gift certificates can be applied toward all workshops, labs or These Hands Makers Collective merchandise. Gift Cards can not be redeemed for cash. Gift Cards do not expire.
Parking: Please note parking signs and regulation to avoid getting a ticket!
