About the Artist:
Alee Hernandeux is a Mexican artist living and working in Monterrey, Mexico. She discovered her love for fashion, illustration and all kinds of crafts since a very young age. At the mid of her career, she drop out fashion school to pursue her dream to live creatively and to find her true self. Through the years, her curiosity has led her to experiment with music and later with photography although she was essentially self taught in each discipline.
It was until she began to hand paint and embroider her own photographs, taking inspiration from the Mexican textiles and colors, and experimenting with different mediums and techniques on paper that she started to sell her artworks with local galleries.
Her current artworks are mostly inspired by women and their great inner strength, normally hidden and underestimated. Her art journey with its meditative processes, has helped her to understand her own life path, to know her true self, to question everything and to find the answers by reconnecting with the Universe and her Intuition in an internal dialogue of growth. Her main purpose is to be able to share a message of love, inspiring other women to empower themselves through her art.
