These Hands Makers Collective is about community.
We strive to bring people together to share the magic we can create with our hands. With social distancing measures in mind, we’ve decided to connect in a new way and make special occasion for the meals we share at home.
Join us for a virtual workshop led by printmaker Mindy Schumacher of Follysome Prints. Each participant will receive a complete craft kit box with everything needed to create a hand printed napkin set.
Mindy will lead us through the process of creating geometric patterns, with step by step instruction and guidance. Everyone gains the materials and knowledge to continue making impressions on textiles and paper to their heart’s content.

About the Artist:
Mindy Schumacher is the printmaker behind Follysome Prints. Specializing in the traditional art of hand block printing, she loves to share her passion for this thoughtful and frankly, addictive creative process. There is something magical that happens in the meditative movements of carving, the rhythm of making impressions and the beautiful moment the print and pattern is revealed.
Mindy lives in Rockford, Illinois with her husband Hans and daughter Gigi where she teaches piano and runs her home art studio.
After you register for this workshop, you will be mailed a kit with all tools and materials along with the login information for our virtual workshop. This class is being limited to only 8 students so that each one of you will get individual assistance from the instructor.
