OCT 14th IN-PERSON - Watercolor 101 with Annie Brown

If you have been wanting to paint with watercolor but didn't know where to start, this class is for you! The workshop will be broken down into two sections: 1. Education and 2. Practice.

For the first hour and a half, we will cover all the basics from the materials you need to the techniques you'll use with every painting. You'll up your foundational knowledge and skills which will make future, more intermediate watercolor classes all that much easier. For the final hour of the class, you'll put these skills to use by creating a small painting using one of the provided still life objects. Artist, Annie Brown, will give you one-on-one guidance on how to use each technique to paint your chosen object.

Watercolor can be daunting but it is also a fun, thought-provoking, and inexpensive creative hobby that is worth the effort and patience. Let's do this!
