Class Description:
Calling all plant parents for this concrete propagation station workshop. In this class you will design and create a propagation vessel. Each piece will include the insert for your plant. Each vessel will be casted using Concrete Geometrics special concrete blend. No previous design or casting experience is required for this class. We will go over the process of casting concrete layers with vibrant mixes of colors. Working time will be about 1hr and drying time is 1hr. Your pieces will be ready to open by the end of the class. While your pieces dry I will go over sealing your concrete and hand out a sealer and brush for you to seal your pieces at home the following day. This class comes with some additional goodies. You will also go home with your silicone mold, extra concrete, and 2 colors of your choice to create another piece at home.
Pieces you will make:

Pigments being used for this class: Vibrant colors & Earth Tones
Take home: Sealer + Brush + finished vessel + silicone mold + additional concrete + 2 colors of choice.
Provided in Class: Concrete, tools, masks, aprons, latex gloves, silicone mold
Please wear clothes that might get concrete on them, it hardly ever happens but small drops may land on your clothing.

It's really important we all begin at the same time. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class is set to start. This gives everyone time to settle in and find parking. About the Artist:
Latina owned and founded in 2013, Concrete Geometric grew out of Krizia's love for minimalism, geometric objects, plants and nature. Everything is “Echo a mano” (handmade) by her in her home studio. Her design pieces have been showcased in Paris, Canada, NY, and LA design weeks. She has designed custom pieces for Olympian Shaun White, Dropbox, Mayor of LA, and collaborated with many other artists in LA. Krizia believes creativity happens when you’re inspired by your surroundings, whether that be creating a calming vibe for a special area of your home or a visual getaway using objects to accent a piece. Her process/mantra is simple, get out of your mind and into your hands. This mantra not only helps with the design process but it nourishes the creative side of our minds in a very calming way.
