
You will learn some basic stitches and patterns, how to add text and how to combine them so you can create a richly expressive motif on any photo.
Plus, she will give you pattern templates to take home for your future projects. You will be provided with artwork to practice with during the workshop, and then you can choose between one of the three photos shown (Lifeguard Tower #13, No Lifeguard on Duty or Woman under Tree). You can also bring your own photo to work on.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Alee Hernandeux is a Mexican textile artist and mixed media illustrator currently living and working in Monterrey, México.
Her current artworks are mostly inspired by her culture, alchemy and the magical process of transformation documenting her own spiritual journey.
Her main purpose is to be able to share a message of love through her work and to inspire others to empower themselves through creativity and art.
