Class Description:
Manifest that sunny, wildflower speckled meadow in this woven picnic basket workshop! In this class, we will use traditional basket weaving techniques to build a stunning and functional picnic basket, complete with leather or cloth handles for easy carrying. Learn to measure reed, construct a 3-dimensional shape, finish the rim, and attach handles. Trade favorite snack ideas with your classmates while you indulge in the mediative weaving process. This basket is the ideal companion for the beach, a concert in the park, a road trip - anywhere you might find yourself craving a perfectly appointed picnic.
Choice between vegetable tanned leather handles, or woven fabric handles.
