Mindy Schumacher is the printmaker behind Follysome Prints. Specializing in the traditional art of hand block printing, she loves to share her passion for this thoughtful and frankly, addictive creative process. There is something magical that happens in the meditative movements of carving, the rhythm of making impressions and the beautiful moment the print and pattern is revealed. 

Mindy lives in Rockford, Illinois with her husband Hans and daughter Gigi where she teaches piano and runs her home art studio.

Join our workshop and you will learn the fundamentals of taking a design through the process of drawing, carving, inking and pressing onto fabric. By the end of the 3 hour workshop you will have created your very own stamp and completed a tea towel to take home.
